FIFA's executive committee has decided the 2010 World Cup will be held in Africa.

FIFA's executive committee has decided the 2010 World Cup will be held in Africa.

It is the first time that football's governing body has ever agreed to award a World Cup to a continent without allowing other continents to bid .

The committee made its decision at its headquarters in Switzerland.
