Roy Keane wants Scotland down in the dumps leaving Dublin

With the Scots two points ahead of the Republic in the Euro 2016 Group D table, and playing with new confidence under a manager, Gordon Strachan, who is enjoying a high approval rating in his homeland, Ireland’s assistant manager acknowledges the opposition will be coming to Dublin with a spring in their step. But that is most definitely not the way he wants them to leave.
“At the moment, the feelgood factor seems to be with them,” he says. “They’ve got a lot of momentum and they’re getting a lot of plaudits. But when you look at the game (in Glasgow) there wasn’t much between us. Scotland are coming here in good spirits. But we need to make sure they’re leaving Dublin in bad spirits.
