Welsh face Uefa probe
Bale’s free-kick strike was greeted with Wales fans racing onto the pitch to celebrate the decisive goal in their 2-1 Euro 2016 qualifying victory.
The FAW said it is not commenting on the investigation.
Under article six of Uefa’s disciplinary regulations, there are a wide range of punishments available include a warning, a fine and a points deduction.
Crowd problems broke out after Bale, who became the world’s most expensive footballer when he joined Real Madrid from spurs in 2013 for €100m, completed a Welsh turnaround in the 81st minute.
The visitors went behind when Ildefons Lima scored a penalty — Andorra’s first goal in a competitive fixture since 2010 — but Bale equalised with a header.
Andorra did not escape action either, with the Andorran Football Federation facing action for their team exceeding five yellow cards in Tuesday’s match.
