Harry Redknapp set his Tottenham side a target of five wins from their remaining seven games to secure a top four finish and a place in next season’s Champions League.

The Spurs manager was relieved after his side secured a first victory in six league games to draw level on points with Arsenal who lie third, and he conceded his primary aim was to overhaul Arsene Wenger’s side.

On paper, Redknapp’s side would appear to have the easier run-in with their north London neighbours due to face leaders Manchester City and fifth-placed Chelsea in the closing weeks of the season, although the manager denied his side were now favourites to finish third.
