Bunn leaves Reds boss frustrated

2012 cannot come soon enough for Liverpool after their miserable end to 2011 continued with a frustrating draw against the Premier League’s basement club, a result which left Kenny Dalglish urging his players to believe in themselves more.

“We just need a bit more belief in ourselves and maybe a goalkeeper coming here and having a nightmare,” said Dalglish after watching his players spurn enough chances to have won three or four games, let alone one.

Liverpool remain sixth in the table but after being held to a goalless stalemate at struggling Wigan in the previous game, Dalglish’s side have dropped four points against teams in the bottom three in the past week.
