Club-seeking Hargreaves turns to YouTube to help dispel fitness doubts

A SERIES of videos of former Manchester United and England midfielder Owen Hargreaves working out have been posted on the internet in an apparent attempt to dispel doubts about his fitness.

Eighteen short clips of the 30-year-old going through his paces in the gym and on the training pitch have appeared on YouTube, one of which has the caption “Owen Hargreaves Comeback”.

The player is currently without a club, having been released by United at the end of last season.

Hargreaves, signed for a reported £17 million from German giants Bayern Munich in the summer of 2007, was plagued by injury problems during his time at Old Trafford and made only 39 appearances for the Red Devils.
