Match-fixing probe by FIFA
Blatter and Ronald Noble, secretary general of the international police organisation, are to hold a news conference following a meeting in Zurich on the joint work in the fight against illegal betting and match-fixing.
It comes after the arrest of a Singaporean man accused of match-fixing who operated from a base in London, close to Wembley Stadium. Wilson Raj Perumal was arrested by the Finnish police on Monday when he was trying to fly out of the country from its international airport in Helsinki. Afterwards, Zambian striker Christopher Musonda was also arrested in Finland.
