Nasri insists Arsenal’s title dreams still on track

The French midfielder, who has been Arsenal’s outstanding player this season, also claimed his form is down to missing the World Cup and doing extra work before pre-season training began. He went on to pay tribute to coach Arsene Wenger and continue his simmering row with Tottenham’s William Gallas.

“I came here to get trophies because I haven’t won anything in my career, apart from a Under-17 European Championship in 2004, and this season, we really have a chance,” said Nasri. “The difference between now and last season is that we’ve had another year of playing together as a squad, there are not many changes, we’re that little bit older and wiser, and we have a complete squad now shown by the fact that we¹ve had injuries throughout the season, but we’ve still been getting results.”
