Doyle: Wolves win overdue

REPUBLIC OF IRELAND striker Kevin Doyle was not surprised by Wolves’ convincing win over big spending Manchester City.

“We played well last week against Chelsea and decent the other night against Manchester United,” he explained.

“We did that again today – and today we got the result which obviously makes a big difference.

“If we play well and get beat, no-one notices so it is nice to win but I think it has been coming.’’
