MARK HUGHES has assured Manchester City fans they have not seen the best of Carlos Tevez.

City supporters have afforded the Argentina star hero status at Eastlands following his big-money summer move from fierce rivals United.

He rewarded them with his first Blues goal at Selhurst Park in Thursday night as City eased into the Carling Cup third round with a comfortable victory over Crystal Palace.
