BOHEMIANS will look to build on their win at Turner’s Cross on Friday night when the League of Ireland Premier Division leaders welcome Galway United to Dalymount Park this evening (7.45pm).

Jason Byrne’s second-half header against Cork City moved the champions ahead of the Leesiders who travel to United Park to take on Alan Mathews’ Drogheda.

Also challenging at the top are Derry City who host St Patrick’s Athletic so Gypsies boss Pat Fenlon will look to avoid a slip-up.

“Galway are a very decent side. They try and play the game the right way. They’ll come out and play like they normally do,” said Fenlon.

“They gave us a difficult game when we went down there. We played well on the night and won the match. We’re expecting another tough game.”

Owen Heary, Glen Crowe, Mark Rossiter and Jason McGuinness available for selection. Owen Heary and Mark Rossiter remain sidelined with injuries, Jason McGuinness still is suspended while Glen Crowe will undergo a late fitness test.

Shamrock Rovers skipper Shane Robinson (hamstring) is Michael O’Neill’s only doubt for their clash with Dundalk.

“Shane is a little bit away from being 100% fit, but he could come into consideration. Stephen Bradley will be back from suspension. We missed him against Drogheda,” said O’Neill who was disappointed to drop two points at home to struggling Drogheda United on Saturday.

“We had enough chances to win by a comfortable margin, but we didn’t take them, and then we lost an extremely poor goal at the other end.

“We were under no real pressure in the game. It was a draw, but it feels like a very bad defeat. It is two points dropped and we have to learn from that.

“We have only been beaten once away from home this season, and our home form is the reason why there is a gap between ourselves and the teams above us.”

Sligo Rovers striker Stephen Parkhouse is definitely out of his side’s trip to Bray while Mauro Almeida and Sean Doherty will face late fitness tests. Romuald Boco is on international duty with Benin.

Meanwhile, last night’s draw for the EA Sports Cup semi-finals ensured there would be a First Division side in the final.

UCD will take on Waterford United while Bohemians host Sligo Rovers in the all-Premier Division with the ties to be played on August 3/4.
