First taste of Wembley joy gives Gibson a Keane edge

DARRON GIBSON has vowed to reach for the stars after going one better than Roy Keane and lifting the Carling Cup.

Former Manchester United and Ireland skipper Keane won every major honour during a 12-year career at Old Trafford — except the League Cup.

Keane reached the final three times but saw his dream of a domestic “full house” shattered by Aston Villa, Liverpool and United for old club Nottingham Forest in 1992.
