Ireland to face Scotland in November‘B’ international

The fixture is the planned return game between the two countries following the scoreless draw at Dalymount Park last year.

The Irish squad for the match in the Excelsior Stadium will be selected by senior manager Stephen Staunton and managed by B international boss Pat Devlin.

Says Devlin: “A lot of players who played in last year’s B match went on to make their senior debut over the past year and if we can get a few more players out of this game then we’ll be very happy.”

The game will come three days after Ireland’s senior team completes its European Championship qualifying campaign away to Wales on November 17.
