Leadbitter goal gives Keane a sweet win

SUNDERLAND match-winner Grant Leadbitter admits he would have been “distraught’ had he left the club this summer and missed out on the Roy Keane regime.

Leadbitter, 20, made his first start under Keane on Saturday as a stand-in for the injured Graham Kavanagh.

And he responded by scoring the only goal, his first for the Black Cats, against Sheffield Wednesday as Keane claimed his maiden home win as boss.
