Stokes on form for Arsenal reserves

IRISH starlet Anthony Stokes continued his eye-catching form for Arsenal’s reserves this week with the go-ahead goal in the Gunners’ 4-2 victory over West Ham, writes Tony Leen.

Stokes was introduced with 25 minutes to go and put Arsenal 3-2 in front in the 85th minute, when he nodded home a Sebastian Larsson free-kick.

Three minutes later, Larsson was fouled in midfield and Stokes’ quick free-kick sent Quincy racing clear to fire home the fourth to seal the win.
