Ronaldo’s wife follows her husband from Italian to Spanish football in a £200,000 deal
Milene Domingues has made the move from Italian side Fiamma Monza to the Madrid side for a Spanish women's record transfer fee of £200,000.
That figure is 10 times the previous record for a female footballer in the Spanish league.
Domingues has already been dubbed "Ronaldinha" by the Spanish media and she is expected to boost interest in women's football in Spain.
She is certainly talented holding the record for ball-juggling at a massive 55,197 touches.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo's decision to join Real Madrid cost him at least £3m, according to the president of his former club Inter Milan.
Massimo Moratti said that the Brazilian was forced to compensate the Italian club for lost sponsorship revenue.
"In economic terms, Inter came out of the whole deal very well because Ronaldo had to pay $5 million out of his own pocket in order to compensate us for lost sponsorship money," Moratti said.
But the Inter chief added that he was unhappy that the 25-year-old Brazilian had decided to leave.
"Inter did what they had to do, but we were the victims and it was Ronaldo who came out of it looking bad," he said.
"Ronaldo played a great World Cup and finished as a winner, but Inter won nothing last season. That makes it difficult to forget what he did."
As part of Ronaldo's move to Spain, Inter can take a Real player when the transfer window reopens in December, or an equivalent cash sum of £6m.
Moratti said the only Real players his club were interested in were Argentine winger Santiago Solari or ex-Liverpool midfielder Steve McManaman.
Both players have said they had no intention to leave Real this season.
