There's no rift with Reid, declares Leeds chairman

Reid was last week given the dreaded vote of confidence by McKenzie, who chose to hold an open debate with fans, players and shareholders on whether he should back or sack the Whites boss. Reid is known to be angered by McKenzie’s poor handling of another sorry chapter in Leeds’ recent history, and with no timescale regarding his future, it means the threat of the axe hangs over his head with every defeat.

McKenzie, who flew out to Japan yesterday on a business trip, has attempted to dispel such a notion following talks with Reid since the Rovers win.
