Wenger keen for Gunners to play regeneration game

ARSENE WENGER admits Arsenal are entering a "crucial" stage of their season - and has every confidence the Gunners can continue their improvement over the coming months.

Arsenal go into tonight's Champions League clash against FC Thun in Berne, Switzerland, safe in the knowledge they have already secured a place in the last 16 following victories in each of their first four Group B matches.

The return of talisman striker and inspirational captain Thierry Henry has also helped the north London side climb the Premiership table, netting a double strike in Saturday's 3-2 win at Wigan which saw them move up into third place, albeit still some 11 points behind leaders Chelsea, but with a match in hand.
