Keane earns Hoddle tribute with double strike
Keane swooped with an equaliser in first-half injury-time before rounding off a gutsy Spurs performance by sweeping home an 85th-minute winner.
Hoddle said: "Robbie is in great form for us at the moment and when you have got a player like that you have always got a chance.
"He played some lovely football which at times was classic Tottenham and his goal right on the stroke of half-time gave us a big lift.
Daniele Dichio had put Albion ahead in the 25th minute before Keane's low shot brought the visitors level in first-half injury-time.
And Spurs responded immediately to substitute Neil Clement's stunning 62nd-minute free-kick when Teddy Sheringham bundled the ball home after a goalmouth scramble less than a minute later.

SUNDERLAND manager Mick McCarthy has warned his shell-shocked players they risk humiliation at the hands of north-east rivals Newcastle next week unless they show a drastic improvement on this dismal display at Maine Road.
The Black Cats slumped to their 12th successive Premiership defeat as Robbie Fowler's second Manchester City goal was sandwiched by a Marc-Vivien Foe double.
"I am looking for some character, some moral courage and some fighting performances," the former Republic of Ireland manager said.
"We played all right for 35 minutes but I do not accept that as being good enough.
"If we play like that on Saturday we will get absolutely spanked.
"If that happens, there will be hell on and justifiably so.
MAN CITY: Schmeichel, Dunne (Belmadi 40), Distin, Sommeil, Jensen, Foe, Barton, Benarbia, Wright-Phillips, Fowler, Anelka.
SUNDERLAND: Poom, Williams, McCartney, Craddock, Gray, Kyle (Proctor 61), Arca (Dickman 46), Thornton, Kilbane, Phillips, Stewart (Flo 61).

SOUTHAMPTON manager Gordon Strachan accused referee Steve Bennett of allowing Birmingham's Christophe Dugarry to run the Premiership clash between the clubs at St Andrews.
Dugarry turned in a world-class performance with his two goals enabling Blues to win 3-2 and virtually guarantee their top-flight status for another season. But Strachan believes Bennett was influenced too much by the French World Cup star, on loan from Bordeaux until the end of the season.
Strachan said: "I thought Dugarry's ability and personality were overpowering for everybody on the pitch and I mean everybody.
"My players at times couldn't handle his ability but I thought his personality was too much for everybody. I've seen some strange things out there that told me who mentally was going to be the boss on the pitch today."
"The referee called for Dugarry to come 20 yards towards him. He refused to go and the ref went and saw him. That tells you what type of mentality you are dealing with."
BIRMINGHAM: Bennett, Kenna (Devlin 64), Cunningham, Upson, Clapham, Damien Johnson (John 79), Savage, Clemence (Lazaridis 54), Hughes, Horsfield, Dugarry.
SOUTHAMPTON: Jones, Telfer (Tessem 85), Lundekvam, Michael Svensson, Bridge, Fernandes (Higginbotham 76), Oakley, Anders Svensson, Prutton, Beattie, Delap (Ormerod 45).
