NEWCASTLE boss Sir Bobby Robson has dismissed accusations he is involved in a club v country row with Wales over Craig Bellamy.

Mark Hughes’ side won their Euro 2004 battle in Azerbaijan yesterday without one of their prize assets as the 23-year-old continued his rehabilitation from a knee injury.

Robson withdrew the striker on the advice of American specialist Richard Steadman, who insisted he plays just one game a week in the short-term.
