Robson gets early Bellamy reunion

NEWCASTLE boss Bobby Robson will enjoy an early reunion with striker Craig Bellamy after his Wales adventure came to a disappointing end.

The 24-year-old hit the headlines once again last week when he was declared fit to play for his country in their vital Euro 2004 qualifiers against Italy and Finland despite his club manager’s insistence his knee problem meant he could not play.

But the booking Bellamy picked up during Saturday evening’s 4-0 defeat in Milan means he cannot now line up against the Finns and should be fit to play against Everton on Saturday.
