Davis can deliver, says Sanchez

NORTHERN Ireland manager Lawrie Sanchez believes youngster Steven Davis has a glittering international career ahead of him.

Davis, 20, has not only retained his place in the squad to face England on Saturday in a World Cup qualifier but looks set to start the match at Old Trafford.

The Aston Villa midfielder first made his mark in the U21s before making his senior debut last month in the defeat by Canada in a friendly at Windsor Park.
