Wenger has sympathy with Souness ... but Gunners aim to add to his woes
Arsenal will have the luxury of knowing Chelsea beat Portsmouth before taking on the Magpies at St James’ Park, but that will be of little consequence for Wenger, who knows that his side must keep winning if they are to stand any hope of catching Jose Mourinho’s men.
The Gunners are unbeaten in their last four games and after their success over struggling Fulham, Wenger was adamant, as were most of the players, that their self-belief is back.
