I’ll fight to get rid of Glazer, vows Cantona

Cantona, who was the key to United’s domestic success from 1993 to 1997, claims Glazer and his family do not have the club’s best interests at heart.

“Glazer is nothing in comparison to Manchester United. I love the club but I don’t like it with him in charge,” Cantona said. “I don’t like these kind of people who are involved in the game. I will fight in whatever way to get Glazer out of this club.”

Cantona, who in December last year urged Glazer to go and “buy Coca-Cola” instead, was adamant no amount of money would tempt him to work for the new owner. “Glazer could pay me €100 million to be manager and I still wouldn’t go there,” the 39-year-old said.
