Tadhg Furlong has been ruled out of the Ireland's opening Six Nations game against England in the Aviva Stadium on Saturday (4.45pm) due to injury and has returned to Dublin for further assessment. Connacht's Jack Aungier has been called up to the squad.
Furlong suffered a recurrence of a calf strain in training on Saturday and an update will be issued during the week.
