Supporters on their way to Saturday night’s World Cup quarter-final at Stade de France are being advised to arrive at the stadium as early as possible ahead of the 8pm (Irish time) kick-off.

With temperatures set to fall into the teens on a dry evening in Paris and kick-off set to take place with the thermometer predicted to be on 11C, the Irish hordes set to witness their team’s latest date with destiny will have to wrap up for the first time at this tournament following a very warm end to the French summer.
