World rugby women's sevens tournament coming to Dublin

12 teams, including Olympic qualified Brazil and Colombia, will compete for places on the coveted 2015-16 World Rugby Women's Sevens Series.

Ireland have been selected to host a major World Rugby women's sevens tournament for the first time - with the announcement today of the Women's Sevens Dublin event.

The tournament, which will take place in UCD on the weekend of August 22 and 23, is part of the World Rugby Women's Sevens Series Qualifier 2015.
