Anscombe opts for Marshall and Pienaar against Dragons

Ulster head coach Mark Anscombe has selected Paul Marshall and Ruan Pienaar as his halfback combination for Friday’s RaboDirect PRO12 fixture against Dragons at Rodney Parade (7.05pm).

The return of Pienaar from international duty saw Marshall drop to the bench for last weekend’s meeting with Glasgow, despite the brilliant form the scrum-half has shown this year, as Anscombe restored the South African’s partnership with Paddy Jackson.
