An independent citing commissioner has taken no action against Scotland despite allegations that Ireland fly-half Ronan O’Gara was deliberately choked in the closing seconds of Saturday’s game at Murrayfield.

O’Gara lost consciousness and Ireland coach Eddie O‘Sullivan described how he had turned blue after the incident.
