Humphreys named Leicester wildcard

Ian Humphreys, the younger brother of David, has been registered as Leicester Tigers' additional wildcard player for the remainder of the Heineken Cup.

Humphreys has shown composure and consistency and has had coach Pat Howard singing his praises in recent weeks. He is seen as a serious challenger to the incumbent Andy Goode.

As expected, Stanley Wright has been registered by Leinster as an emergency front-row option in the injured absence of Will Green and Fosi Pala'amo.
