Constitution win out in tight encounter

Cork Constitution preserved their unbeaten start to the AIB League as they scored three tries at Stradbrook today.

Out-half Conor Quaid, winger Richie Lane and flanker Brendan Cutriss all crossed the whitewash as the Leesiders came from behind.

‘Rock led 10-8 at the break thanks to Leinster winger Gary Brown’s converted try from 60 metres out. A neat skip pass put Quaid in late in the half.

‘Rock, who came into the game having beaten Con just twice in their last 12 league meetings, grabbed late tries from Alan Henry and Carr to net a bonus point.
