Belfast Harlequins kept their fourth place in Division One as they came from behind at Carlow's Oak through second half tries from full back Willem Slabbert and Reece Spee, to win 24-13.
Andre Bester's side avenged their pride-denting 19-7 home defeat at the hands of Blackrock last time out, but affored mid-table Carlow a head start and an 8-7 half-time lead.
Carlow's left wing Maurice Logue cancelled out Reece Spee's effort, his eight of the campaign, midway through the first half, converted by Ajay Derwin.
Australian Ben Young handed the home side the lead with a 29th minute penalty.
But Spee and Slabbert finished off fine individual moves on 48 and 68 minutes, both converted by Derwin to confirm their seventh win of the season.
Billy Murphy replied for Carlow, but his effort was cancelled out by a Derwin penalty on 64 minutes.
