Munster lock Donncha O’Callaghan was the first to sing the praise of Ronan O’Gara after the Irish outside-half had kicked six successive penalties to give his side a priceless 18-17 win at Bourgoin in Pool Five of the Heineken Cup.

O’Gara did not miss a kick as he ensured the runners-up from 2000 and 2002 picked up four points to kick-start their latest European campaign and avenge their defeat at Stade Pierre Rajon in 1998.
