Wood returns for World Cup qualifiers

Irish captain Keith Wood has re-joined the squad for this month’s World Cup qualifiers against Russia and Georgia.

Wood withdrew from last weekend’s friendly clash with Romania following the sudden death of his brother, Gordon.

Four other players also return to the squad for this month’s qualifiers - Ulster’s Paddy Wallace, Justin Bishop of London Irish and Munster duo Alan Quinlan and Marcus Horan.
