Bristol fly-half Felipe Contepomi today dedicated Argentina’s stunning victory over Six Nations champions France to a country engulfed by economic catastrophe and World Cup depression.

The Pumas’ thrilling 28-27 success came after Argentina followed pre-tournament favourites and fellow soccer giants France out of World Cup contention in Japan and Korea.
