Scotland centre John Leslie has announced his retirement from international rugby.

Scotland centre John Leslie has announced his retirement from international rugby.

The 31-year-old, who plays his club rugby for Northampton, played his final international match in Scotland’s Six Nations Championship victory over Wales in Cardiff.

The New Zealand-born star, eligible to play for Scotland through his grandparents, made his debut for them in 1998 against South Africa after arriving in the UK to play for Glasgow Caledonians.
