Rugby: Three AIL fixtures today
There are three games down for decision today in the All-Ireland League Division One as Ballymena host Cork Con, Blackrock play Young Munster and Garryowen meet Dungannon.
Although some of the sides are missing key international players because of their involvement in the Irish match against Samoa tomorrow, there are still some provincial players who will be available for selection.
Ballymena will have it all to do at Eaton Park today if they are to stop Cork Con from winning. The Cork side can call on Jim Williams and Donnacha O’ Callaghan who are not in action for Munster this weekend although they are without the considerable presence of Ronan O’Gara.
Young Munster face a stiff task as they travel to Stradbrook to play an exciting Blackrock side.
Finally, Garryowen must host last year’s champions, Dungannon, without John Langford who is still nursing an injury he received while playing for Munster.
However, Dungannon must also do without several provincial players such as Paddy Johns, Jan Cunningham, Kieron Campbell and Aidan Kearney.
