Ronan Loughney married to the cause of Connacht ahead of Pro12 semi-final

Long-serving Connacht player Ronan Loughney is relishing life’s big occasions, and he has two to relish in the next three weeks.

The 32-year-old lines out against Glasgow in Connacht’s first Pro12 semi-final, and two weeks later celebrates his marriage in Kerry.

The prop says despite a “few distractions”, the focus is on the “detail and preparation” for tomorrow’s clash at a sold-out Galway Sportsground. “It’s about getting that right because that is what has worked all season, and then the occasion will look after itself,” he said.
