Fans warned to be wary of potential travel chaos

Munster Rugby are urging fans to give themselves plenty of time to get to this evening’s Champions Cup pool clash with Saracens at Thomond Park as roadworks continue to disrupt travel between Cork and Limerick.

Fans warned to be wary of potential travel chaos

With ticket sales hovering at just under 24,000 at close of business yesterday, and the prospect of substantial numbers leaving from Cork after work around 5pm, the current detour around Buttevant on the main N20 link between the cities has potential for serious delays as the scramble to get to the game in time for the 7:45pm kick-off begins.

Munster are also recommending the train service between Cork and Limerick with a 5.20pm service leaving Kent Station and arriving via Limerick Junction at 6.59pm.
