England captain Chris Robshaw has backed Stuart Lancaster to become the full-time coach of the national side following the huge forward strides made during the RBS 6 Nations.

Lancaster was put in charge of England on an interim basis while the Rugby Football Union search for the right man to replace Martin Johnson and lead them to success in the 2015 World Cup on home soil.

With Lancaster at the helm, flanked by assistant coaches Andy Farrell and Graham Rowntree, England won four games from five in the championship and only narrowly lost to eventual Grand Slam winners, Wales.
