Crescent cup run comes to end at hands of Pres

Crescent Comprehensive, chasing a third consecutive Munster Junior Cup win were beaten by Presentation Brothers Cork in an entertaining game at Dooradoyle yesterday.

Crescent took the lead six minutes into the second half against the run of play with a Shane Eades penalty.

Pres hit back when Dave Fitzgerald caught at the lineout and Jake O’Donovan touched down. Dave O’Sullivan added a difficult conversion. Dave Fitzgerald got in at the corner for a second try as time ran out.
