MUNSTER have been spared any potential blushes as Magners League tournament organisers insist both they and Leinster will enter the field together for Saturday’s final at Thomond Park.

There were concerns in some quarters that the hosts would have to provide a guard of honour for the newly-crowned Heineken Cup champions — and greatest rivals — in their famed stadium. However, Celtic Rugby chiefs last night insisted protocol for a showdown is that both sides will come down the tunnel together, side by side.

A spokesman said: “It’s not an issue and is not up for debate.”
