Blues boss Young is wary of Ulster raid

CARDIFF BLUES boss Dai Young is expecting a stern test from Ulster in tomorrow’s Magners League clash at Cardiff City Stadium (3.45pm).

Young said: “Ulster have spent a lot of money and obviously are a team that want to get back to the top where they were a couple of seasons ago.

“They have a strong squad and have picked up a lot of wins this season, so I think it will be a difficult game for us. don’t think they are burdened with a lot of international withdrawals, so we know we are up against a very strong team and they will probably feel it’s a good time to come to Cardiff with so many of our internationals away.”

Casey Laulala and Ceri Sweeney are named in the hosts’ back division while Xavier Rush, Ma’ama Molitika and Michael Paterson make up the back-row. Tom Slater is at scrum-half in the absence of injury-victim Lloyd Williams while Paul Tito leads them from the second-row and Taufa’ao Filise is back after injury at prop.
