Munster begin their Cup campaign away to reigning champions Wasps on Saturday, but are confident of having over 12,000 fans in a Thomond Park few will recognise on Sunday week for the visit of crack French outfit, Clermont Auvergne.

Munster’s three home pool games will kick off early due to the absence of floodlights — but Munster chief executive Garret Fitzgerald still believes that over 12,000 home fans will be able to conjure up that special Thomond Park atmosphere.
