Betsen ponders Leicester switch

FRANCE flanker Serge Betsen is contemplating a move to Leicester, while the Tigers have yet to agree a new deal with England counterpart Lewis Moody.

Betsen, who has earned 46 caps, has visited the Walkers Stadium, where the club intend to move to within the next couple of years.

Leicester are confident Moody will re-sign, while veteran Neil Back is considering whether to extend his career by one more season.

Leicester backs coach Pat Howard revealed: “Serge contacted us and he is thinking about making a change. Biarritz is a fantastic club but he is looking at other opportunities. He posed the question and we invited him to come to the club and have a look. We did not get round to discussing terms.”
