Michael Cheika’s side secured back-to-back Heineken Cup wins - plus a bonus point - by outscoring Bourgoin seven tries to one at the RDS on Saturday. On this evidence, another crucial win in France next weekend is clearly attainable.

However, a word of caution. Bourgoin were as pallid as their pale blue jerseys; this was another spineless performance that bordered on disgraceful.
