The Easter holidays mean lots of things to many different people, but as the hour springs forward tonight, sport comes to the fore in many houses, and most definitely in ours. Denmark in Dublin on Tuesday night would have dominated the conversation all weekend, but that ship sank in Prague on Thursday night, and now, all of a sudden, everything else has regained relevance. 

What amazed me as I passed through Dublin Airport last Wednesday was the lengths people had gone to and the costs they were incurring to get to Czechia, and the plans they had for next week. Planes, trains and automobiles to destinations that seemed to be in the wrong direction, but all roads led to one destination, and most wouldn’t even be in the stadium.
