Connections of Monterosso are in no hurry to make plans for the King Edward VII Stakes winner after he finished fourth in the Irish Derby.

The Mark Johnston-trained colt, owned by Sheikh Mohammed's son, was supplemented at a cost of €150,000 for the Classic at the Curragh where he was only beaten three lengths by the winner Cape Blanco.
