Chepstow gets green light

Chepstow's meeting this afternoon will go ahead as planned after a precautionary 8am inspection was brought forward.

Conditions have been wet in Wales recently but there has been no rain since Saturday afternoon, giving the track chance to dry.

"We've been bone dry overnight," said clerk of the course Keith Otteson.

"The course has dried sufficiently although the going is still heavy."

Following the news of Warwick's abandonment Chepstow have offered 50% off admission to anyone who produces a valid ticket for Warwick.
