Confront hits target at Newmarket

Confront joined the ever-expanding list of improving older horses trained by Michael Stoute with success in the opener on 2000 Guineas day at Newmarket.

Touted as a Classic prospect last season but disappointing in two runs and subsequently gelded, Confront reappeared in the stanjames.com Suffolk Stakes at the top of the handicap.
